Psaras Construction origins go back to 1957 when the talented young entrepreneur Nicos Psaras created one of the first construction companies in Cyprus. Nicos Psaras was born and raised in Famagusta region from the village of Assia and later moved to Aglantzia, Nicosia and married Despo Karaoli. They started together building locally, with the support of his father in law, Costas Karaolis who was then the mayor of Aglantzia. They continued to grow, mainly in Nicosia, Famagusta and Kyrenia areas until 1974 where following the Turkish invasion, they moved their operations into the Middle East.

Late 80’s gradually while working in the Middle East, they restarted operations in Cyprus and later on their children, Kyriakos, Aphrodite and George Psaras entered the family business. The second generation took over completely in 2000 following the death of their father Nicos Psaras.

Since then the company continued to grow and managed to establish offices with local partnerships in Bucharest Romania, Muscat Oman and their own office in London UK. In 2011 the first member of the third-generation son of Kyriakos Psaras, Alexis Psaras joined the company and took over the London office in 2013.

Today the company is focused mainly in Cyprus and is involved in a series of projects continuing with the same success and the same vision inherited by their parents.
